I Peggy Spencer worked in the Medical field in Vermont for many years providing community base, medical and non-medical services at Birchwood, Professional Nurses Services, and Visiting Nursing Association in homes. The jobs performed in various places entailed Bathing/Dressing /Assisting, Feeding/Food Prep, Hoyer Use, Wheel Chair Operation, Companion, Dressing Changing, Intake /Output Recording, and Vital. One of the best opportunities I had was working with Death and Dying families losing a loved one; there was nothing more gratifying in my life than the years I spent with in-home Hospice clients and Williston of Vermont Respite House. After gathering impressive experience with this organization I realized that giving quality of life to people with disabilities was my passion and I needed to seek further training. after receiving a degree in Education, I went to Northwestern Tech in St. Albans. to get my LNA and just let go in 2021 to become an Independent Contractor working with Adult People with Disabilities

I am looking to strengthen the We are not disabled, we are able" community.  Vermont Wings will be offering life skills and tools that equal success in a non-institutionalized skillful non traditionalized environment.. believe in and where I can create positive change. I am always looking to learn more and am open to taking on challenging projects.
